Amanda Vela is the Administrative Specialist with the Madera Unified School District under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. She was previously the Assistant V to the Director of Federal and State Programs. Amanda has worked for Madera Unified School District for over 20 years, starting her career as a sub before becoming a contracted Administrative Assistant. She has worked for George Washington Elementary, Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School and the Human Resources Department. She is a born and raised Maderian and graduate of Madera High School. She obtained her Associates Degree from Reedley College-Madera and is currently attending Fresno Pacific University to earn her B.A. in Business with an emphasis in Organizational and Leadership.
