Cynthia joined the Madera Unified family in November of 2005 as a clerk in the Child Nutrition department. Cynthia spent six years ensuring proper paper was completed and turned in timely so that children could receive a meal. Wanting to take her skills to the next level Cynthia joined the Human Resources team as an Office Assistant. After just one year she was promoted to Human Resources Technician I. As a Human Resources Technician I Cynthia provided subs for 55 school sites/departments on a daily basis. She processed the time sheets for all 480 classified and certificated subs for the district. After providing exceptional service and accuracy, three years later Cynthia was promoted to Human Resources Technician II. This new role has given her the ability to become an expert on leaves and MUTA policies and procedures. Cynthia’s goal is to create a seamless process for her staff members going out on a leave.
