22 years in Law Enforcement with MPD to include 15 years as a Violent Crimes Detective and 5 years as a Special Investigations Unit member (Task Force). He further was a Training Officer for 10 years and a Field Training Officer for new-hires. Along with two years as the Gang Intervention Specialist with the MUSD, Hector is also a B.A.T.I. instructor around the State of California
